I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your minute dated 14/1/47 and very much regret that a reply giving information required by

your minute of 28/12/46 has not yet been forwarded to you.

A draft reply to the Memorandum was prepared and it was

decided to seek Legal advice on the matter.

This is now in the hands of the Hon. Mr. M.M.Watson of

Messrs. Johnstone, Stokes and Masters. H.K., and S.B. Building.

Mr. Watson has intimated that he will seek and interview with you

on the matter.
